I'm Going to Have a New Set of Eyes for Halloween

As per title, tomorrow afternoon is D Day. I'm going to have Lasik done to my stupid eyes and "hopefully" never have to wear glasses or contacts ever again. So happy! It's expensive...sigh...but they are for eyes right?
I'm totally blind in theory, yesterday's eye exam shows that my left is now -6 and my right is -5.75. I've been wearing glasses since I was 12. That is almost 21 years ago! If that's not bad enough then I don't know what is.

I'm looking forward to wake up in the morning on Friday and not grabbing my glasses and never trip in the bathroom again.
Happy Halloween! (though I don't celebrate one).

International Day of Climate Action

I love these pictures. So much so, I want to fly home to Sydney! ;-)

Blue or Yellow?

I don't know which one to choose between the two. Seriously they are both good enough to eat!

Ooh today I stopped by the Nordstrom Rack that just opened on Thursday. Full of people I cannot breathe hehe. I may just go back when people's excitement start to go down. In a few weeks perhaps. Pretty good though.
For the designer shoes, they have Burberry, Ferragamo, Bruno Magli, L.A.M.B, Stuart Weitzman and some Coach. I totally wish they have Louboutin, but of course that's pushing my luck. Nordstrom Barton Creek don't even stock them so why would the rack store have them right?
Clothing wise, they have Alice + Olivia, Juicy Couture, Nanette Lepore, William Rast to name a few and plenty of designer jeans (MEK Jeans, SFAM, Rock & Republic, True Religion, William Rast denim, Paige and more). I didn't really check the bags section, because nothing really draw my attention. The men section is a little smaller, but I saw some nice jeans too as well as Diesel clothing, lots of cufflinks, colorful ties and business shirts and some Kenneth Cole suits.

Anyway, that's my report on Nordstrom Rack :-) Definitely be back when it's a little quieter.

Ps. Off topic, I will be on meds from mid November..uurgh-who wants my life?. Oh well!

My Little Baby Went to NM Hospital

I've been carrying my GST to work all last week. So okay, I suddenly noticed last night that there was a loose stitching! I was so upset at first. I mean, my baby is only a week old.
Anyway, I called my SA at NM this morning and told him I'm going to bring my bag over after work so he can tell me what he can do. I heard horror stories about bag that being shipped out for repair and took months and come back looking horrible. I was so ready to tell my SA that there is no way I'm going to let my bag stuck in the repair place for months.

Cut the story short, my lovely SA took my bag to the second floor where the alteration department located. I waited for 10 minutes and voila my bag is fixed! I'm so happy!!

Ps. The blue caviar for Cruise 2010 is coming in 2 weeks-get ready for it ;-)

*Updates (10/28/09)*
Err...it has been only a week, now my other corner has a loose stitching! Ooh..I'm getting mad. How many times do I have to bring this bag over to get fixed???! I have to call my SA tomorrow. May bring the bag over on Saturday since I have Lasik tomorrow.

Saturday at the Domain

I haven't had a chance to post anything lately. Work is so damn busy haha, well.. that's because where I work, our fiscal year starts on October 1st, not January or June or whatever variations they have out there.
But yay, Thank God It's Saturday! DH and I cruising to the Domain today since the weather is extremely nice in the mid 70s, taking pictures, having coffees and some window shopping (yes I only can "look" this weekend). I want to have Saturday every single day and today I put more effort on dressing up just because!

ODJ: Gap V neck tee, Tokito (Australian brand) puffy sleeves blazer, Forever21 black legging, Chanel J12, Chanel M/L 09 red caviar flap, necklaces from Anthropologie and Tiffany and Ferragamo Varina flats in Strawberry.

I Want Robert Rodriguez Jacket!

And I want it so bad too especially now that the weather is cooler. I've been eyeing this Ruffle Peak Jacket by Robert Rodriguez for a month and I will probably get it soon, pity I cannot try them in store. The online sizing charts are not that helpful. Urrrrgh. Let me think about it for another week ;-) They are available in Shopbop.com, Saks, NM or Bloomingdales.

Enjoy the pics!

ps. urrrgh, today is not a pleasant day. Got some calls from my doctor who's feeling sorry for me and couldn't understand what is wrong with me. I guess back to square one. I just want this to be over!

Little Treats

I went to RR Outlet on Saturday and got these 2 items- They are not expensive, both I paid less than 30 bucks including tax. I should have bought more than 1 bangle to create the stack-effect, but I think one looks cute by itself. The bangle I think very Chanel-esque and the necklace is so cute (it's called "Sunburst" I think) because both sides have the so called sunburst. Ohh..I got them from J.Crew outlet store. Love!

Hunting For a Perfect Everyday Bag Part 2

Ok. That's it. I've ordered it. I initially wanted black, blue, burgundy etc..turned out that I saw this amazing color (think: very light grey with blue and purple tones depending on the lights) but of course sold out mostly everywhere. My SA, found it, should be here on Wednesday. He will give me a call so that I can "inspect" it hehe. Stay tune till then!

Hint: I decided to stay faithful with Chanel...sigh...
