Last days of 2012

I'm not staying up to welcome new year so I would like to wish you a happy new year now. It's been nice to know 2012, it's been interesting and it's been too fast at times. But overall we are doing good this year.

I've been enjoying having my little sister and her hubby here. I really don't want them to go (in 2 weeks) :-(
Oh well...it looks like we are visiting soon, not sure when yet but definitely soon!

Some pics so far from their visit and my little boys a month away from being 2 years old!!

My boys are wearing their Carter's Pjs lol

ODJ: Pink blazer from H&M, Cartier Love bracelets, SFAM jeans, no brand black tee and Prada handbag

ODJ: Denim top from Anthropologie, SFAM jeans, sandals from Fendi and Camellia WOC from Chanel

More Carter's Pjs ;-)

Shopping Rambling

I need new ballet flats and new sandals. Oh how I want to spend a day going shopping uninterrupted. Those days are gone I suppose. Just when I was thinking about it, M my NM's SA txt me with the special event currently happening in NM. Asked me if I want to attend and she can add me to her RSVP list. Meh..as if I can go haha! They always have this on mid week after work. If they are doing it on the weekend I may get DH to watch the kids for few hours ;-)

Anyway, I had to email her few things that I want...I don't even know if they have it in Austin NM. Have you noticed how small our NM here??

So this Prada flat thong was on my list. I want it in every colors but I told her I will settle with the gold one.

And oh..I order a replacement for my SFAM bootcut jeans. My current one has finally died at 8 years old! Can you believe it. I love that jeans so much that I have to have the exact same one. Well...ok I cannot find the NY dark rinse anymore but I found the equivalent. I hope nothing change in terms of cut, comfort and the fit. I'm going to cry if it looks funny on me.

Umm..what else. I had my eyes on Burberry and Prada flats too, then dogeared zodiac necklaces then some Roberto Coin items. Once I sees them all, then I can decide which one to cull. It's amazing what one hour on internet can do to you. I'm sure it's worse if I'm at the store. For now I only can browse from home.

On Saturday I gathered all of the boys stuffs that they refused to touch anymore (bouncer, jumperoo, baby carriers..stuffs like that) and I started writing an ad so I can sell them. I despise clutters. If I see something that kinda sit in one space for a period of time (with the exception of stuffs that sit in my closet HAHA) I started to get paranoid about it and want that block of space back. I'm weird like that. By Sunday afternoon, I sold most of the stuffs I want to sell. It's really funny to see the boys just kinda stared at those items while being taken away by strangers. To be honest, I lost a lot of money this way. I always buy brand new but my boys don't always like what I bought. Or if they do, it took only few months before they get over it. That's when that thing will sit there and it annoys the hell out of me that I have to sell it. And you know what, I couldn't even recoup half of what I spent sometimes despite it looks like new. Babies/kids items just don't hold much values (like mommy's Chanel)..but hey it's better than just sitting there.

Ok, I think enough of my rambling today! I'll post some more later.

I Want Green

I want a shopping bag, no zip, easy on the shoulder, no fuss and I want it in green. I was considering Goyard St Louis but not keen about the non-leather part. I love how you can personalize it with your initials though. I think it's so cute. But back to non-leather, I just couldn't do it. After all the bag is not a few hundred dollars ya know.

Anyway, I search around and I think I found the one from Prada. The green is pre order till April but I can wait. It's leather, green and cheaper than Goyard. I'm happy.

4 Weeks on..

I think I'm coping pretty well with the lack of sleep since the twins are here. Sure I had my low moments but I know it's going to get better!
Anyway, while my sister still here, we went shopping at the Domain. I went pretty nuts..actually on a second thought, it wasn't too bad (damage wise). I got some nice goodies, it was good to be back to the shopping arena hehe.

Today my sister left me. I had to send her to the airport, back to Sydney, back to real world. And I miss her already. My boys definitely misses their aunt.

Hopefully I can take the boys to see her soon or vice versa! Probably before they turn 2 haha, not sure how hard to travel with twins in tow. Till next time my darling sister..muach!

Missing Home!

No matter where I stay, I still rather stay at home. My own bed, bathroom and everything. Last day in San Antonio today- it was lovely (and I didn't have to clean/wash/tidy for few days) but yeah I want my pillows :D

Thought I post my last ODJ in San Antonio at 30w4d. Till next time~

Little Tuesday Pleasure

I'm totally in the mood to dress up this morning, I think I'm totally showing too these days (I'm at 20w5d today) but I'm not complaining, it's kinda cute knowing there are 2 chubbies in there and oh..oh..I'm having boys! DH and I already have names so we are pretty much set. We actually already have names in mind for ages. All these times we were hoping nobody (friends and family) take the names and glad to say we are safe!

I feel great overall despite the difficulties of sleeping most nights (nose congestion is super annoying) but I've been using the nasal strips and it does help. Workwise...that is probably something I will complain about, we have so many deadlines towards December and I really don't want to think about it right now haha.

I still have not shop for any specific maternity items beside the skinny jeans and the spanx legging...I don't know..I'm not sure what to buy, I just get by these days but those days are outnumbered soon, I need to do some serious shopping!

Almost 17!

Hello! Nothing new from this side. I'm 16w5d today and I feel fine. Trying to put up with the heat is the hardest. Umm..oh DH and I also found out that one of the twinkies is a boy! I'm so very happy! I've been wanting a little boy for the longest time :-D

Unfortunately the other kiddo loves to play hide and seek, won't find out until my next appointment in about 3 weeks. If it's a girl, then everything is perfect!

Anyhow, I'm having a problem loving this maternity jeans. I bought this skinny maternity from Pea in the Pod, the fit is great but I have to keep pulling it up, how classy. Hope it will fit better in a couple of weeks. I still can wear my SFAM but it's a little snug as soon as I had my meal. Muffin top is not classy either don't you think haha.

Hunting For a Perfect Everyday Bag

I don't know what is the definition of perfect haha. I just want all features in one bag. For example, with my Balenciaga city, size is great, have zipper, you can use the long strap or you can do hand held. Almost perfect. But what I found, it's so hard to zip and trying to find things when I use the long strap because the bag is really slouchy (and this is a problem when I use the long straps 90% of the time).
My Chanel camera bag is lovely too, but since the chain is really one chain that you can use either as double or single (I normally use it as single), I just cannot grab things easily from there and it gets flatten at the top, if that makes sense. My classic flaps are off limit. Too heavy for everyday. Gucci Hysteria is fine, but without a zipper. I don't have complains with my Balenciaga Day (maybe that's why they called it "Day" to begin with- so that you can use it everyday), but yeah I just need a new one, either black, burgundy, brown or blue tote- not too big but enough for all the stuffs I carry.

These are the contenders so far:
Prada Saffiano and Tessuto Tote

Prada Cervo Shine Convertible Bag

Louis Vuitton Stresa in Azur (not available till early 2010)

Chanel GST

I have to say that it's too bad that Chanel is the most expensive of all. I love Chanel, but this time I'm divided, thus the reason I put the Chanel as my number 4 option. I heard ladies were complaining that the GST straps keep falling down. I love the Prada that Miranda has, the price point is a lot more attractive at this point, my second favorite is the Cervo Shine, it's so roomy just the way I like it. The LV, well..I cannot wait till February 2010 (typical me), so I don't know. If I'm stuck then mayyyyybe I will wait till then. What do you think?

From San Antonio with LOVE (loots!)

It started with this place...LOL

Then my car's backseat have these...

Duh...when I got home, I took pictures of my loots! OK, my LV 2010 agenda refill is not exactly loot, more like NEED, but I'm still happy with what I got. I didn't take a pic of my top from Anthropologie. It's kinda hard to capture what I want to show (the flutter sleeves). Oh well..I will take pics when I wear them.

TOP PRESS: Fendi outlet is about to open in San Marcos. I was there on the way back to Austin to see what Gucci outlet have. Oooh, the SA lady was effing rude @ Gucci (again this is Gucci at San Marcos). She looked at me as if I was a tourist or something and she's asian too. Shame on her. Knowing me, I don't mind spending $$ and help you get that commission if you are nice and helpful. But no, you don't deserve it and I don't appreciate you grab the bag off my hand as if I'm going to run with it. You mess with the wrong customer-BIG TIME.
I say, if you go to Gucci outlet, deal with the boys. They were lovely and polite to me unlike her.
For now, I would rather donate my money to either Saks in Troy Michigan or NM in San Antonio.
