Post Mother Day's Shopping

I hope you had a great Mother's Day celebration yesterday. It was my second Mother's day and instead of presents, I asked my DH to let me go shopping on my own, yes alone, without kids!

I stopped by at NM hoping to see something I like from their current sale, but unfortunately nothing (and it's probably a good thing for my wallet).
I bought a couple of things from Madewell, J. Crew, Zara and Anthropologie so over the next week I will wear the new items, take pics and post it on my blog.

Today I'm wearing one of the item that I bought. I was looking for black pants that can go casual and dressy at the same time. When I saw this online at Anthropologie.com, I did not see the appeal at all. When I saw it in person, again, I wasn't too impressed but I picked up my size anyway and headed to the fitting rooms. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried this on. Not only it is the type of pants that I'm looking for (pleated and pull on type), the material is light and fully lined, perfect for all seasons. The pants goes well with heels, flats, cute blazers, flowy tops even business shirt. Too bad it's not on sale haha, but I'm buying whether it's on sale or not ;-)

Long or Short?

I have booked myself a haircut appointment in 2 weeks. Thinking about chopping it short again like last year because my boys have acquired a new skill, i.e. pulling my hair hard when I carry them unless I put my hair in ponytail and also my most hated season--> summer is coming.

See, I was just able to curl my hair again after letting it grow for a year-so now, should I just leave it and keep it long therefore I can play with it, or cut it short and don't worry about maintenance for another year? decision..decision.

Anyway, I had time to take some shots today though my boys suddenly cried for attention :D
It's been a while, so hope you enjoy them!

What's New in March

So yeah, March is almost over and the weather is warming up especially here in Texas.
I bought stuffs since February and I didn't even have a chance to take modeling pictures- well I haven't had a chance to wear them all anyway! See, I used to wake up really early before I'm off to work, took some pictures and post them before I head to the door. But look, I don't want to wake up too early these days hahah because an extra 5 minutes of sleep is so precious :-)

Anyway...once I get that extra sleep (even just an hour) I promise I will be more dilligent taking pictures. My babies are a little over 2 months old now, things will get less hectic and hopefully we will pass that the.first.3.months.are.the.hardest.phase (or was it 6?).

Here are some of the things I got-- I think I'm good for a while ;-)

Outfit on a Good Day

I have a couple of tops that I normally don't wear unless it's a good day-don't ask me why, I just kinda save them. Well, since they probably won't fit me very very soon, I just have to wear them from now on. This is one of them. I love the color so much and it's a silk so it's very comfortable to wear on hot days, better yet it was on sale, I only had to pay less than 100 bucks for it.

Yay for Weekend

This week has been hectic, but I made it through. Next week is going to be another busy one, but I don't mind because time goes much faster that way. I have absolutely no plan for this weekend but the best yet- Good Friday is next week and I'm having a day off and will spend quality moi time at the Domain haha.

I hope you have a fun weekend!!

Good Night

I have a doctor appointment tomorrow morning (ugh) and I'm about ready for bed (yes it's only 8pm!), but of course I just had to post a picture of me with my new YSL shoes. The shoes fit like a glove despite guessing for the size while ordering~ totally happy about them.

Psst please mind my bruised knee (hope you cannot see it though), believe it or not I fell at the parking lot outside the office this morning- I was that sleepy *chuckle*. And no I wasn't even wearing heels!

Carrousel Dots Top by Marc Jacobs

I just bought this cute summer top and cannot wait till  UPS deliver it next Tuesday. I love Marc Jacobs, they always have girly tops, skirts and cardigan. I don't find them at the highest quality though, that's why I normally wait till they have sale. Their tops can easily cost $180 and up with jackets can go as much as $500. Oh and I was talking about their Marc by Marc Jacobs range, not the Marc Jacobs that will cost even more.

So anyway, this top that I bought, originally cost $238 and I got it for $88. Pretty happy about that!
Here is the pic, and I actually bought the black one with white collar instead.
