Last days of 2012

I'm not staying up to welcome new year so I would like to wish you a happy new year now. It's been nice to know 2012, it's been interesting and it's been too fast at times. But overall we are doing good this year.

I've been enjoying having my little sister and her hubby here. I really don't want them to go (in 2 weeks) :-(
Oh well...it looks like we are visiting soon, not sure when yet but definitely soon!

High heels are pleasure with PAIN?

Well that's what Mr. Louboutin said. I have few pairs myself and it's funny how I always expect myself to be in pain when I bought his shoes. I just knew it's going to be stiff and hard to walk on. I'm going to get slight blisters and squished toes for the first few wears. Unlike others, I won't go beyond 110mm. Not even 120mm.
So anyway, I decided to get a new work shoes, in classic black patent and I chose Decollete. They are beautiful shoes for sure, and I just got them back from being resoled in red and the owner of the shop told me, the shoes are just so pretty..hehe of course I believed him! But yeah my toes are being molded to this narrow corner...uurgh it's definitely painful! Oh well....I kept telling myself it will get better. Hopefully by this weekend if I keep wearing them.

I have Nude Piou Piou coming later this afternoon too, so stay tuned :-)

Long or Short?

I have booked myself a haircut appointment in 2 weeks. Thinking about chopping it short again like last year because my boys have acquired a new skill, i.e. pulling my hair hard when I carry them unless I put my hair in ponytail and also my most hated season--> summer is coming.

See, I was just able to curl my hair again after letting it grow for a year-so now, should I just leave it and keep it long therefore I can play with it, or cut it short and don't worry about maintenance for another year? decision..decision.

Anyway, I had time to take some shots today though my boys suddenly cried for attention :D

Last Day of March ODJ

Can't believe tomorrow is April already. Where did the time go? I was thinking to have a short vacation with DH this long weekend, but decide not to. However I was thinking to have a picnic in the park while the weather is still favorable (to me that is haha). I'm not too outdoorsy unfortunately. There's always an excuse but I thought I never had any picnic since I moved to Austin 3 years ago. I need to think about picnic menu haha I'm so lame ;-)

Okay, I'm off to work~ one day to go before long weekend!

This week hasn't been that great, but alas February is over and looking forward to March as we speak (read: write).

Early Birthday Celebration

DH and I were celebrating my birthday tonight. 2 days early haha but it doesn't really matter for me.
We had meals at McCormick at the Domain with the gift cards that we bought from Costco, happy happy!
I also wore the Alice + Olivia strong shoulder top that I bought from NM yesterday.

Yes, the Black Friday shopping yesterday was a great success haha. Actually I didn't spend that much, only the top and some energy saver light bulbs from Home Depot, trendy no? Nah...I hate the yellow-ish lightings in my closet, so I bought the daylight one therefore it's brighter and white!

DH bought me diamonds studs earrings from Bailey Banks & Biddle since they were 50% off. They are closing down if you have not heard, all stores in the whole nation. Yay, I'm loving my new earrings!

Victoria Beckham's Louboutin and Hair

I just love her Louboutin, it's called "Maggie". I saw those pair in NM a month ago, but at 130mm (5.25 inches = 13.33cm), I will never be able walk with them. They are still available if you look hard enough (actually Saks has them in Lilac CLICK HERE) and if you are after the exact same color, Barneys have them CLICK HERE and plenty of sizes are available. I personally will give them a miss (unless they reduce the price like at least 50% haha). I may need to go to chiro if I buy those shoes!
Ohh and I absolutely love her new hair!! I'm going to have a haircut this Thursday and I don't know what style to have. I'm such a chicken. At any rate, you will just see me with old plain bob heheh.

ps. Oooh her poor Hermes sitting on the ground. I just wanted to cry.

Happy Bday to My Little Baby Sister

It's my youngest sister's birthday today. I couldn't believe she's 25. I always view her as my baby sister, the spoilt one, the one who always look up to her 2 big sisters. But she's all grown up, in fact she's a married woman! I was 8 when she was born and she's adorable from day 1. She has an expensive taste like her sisters also ;-), in which she always blame us for it. Don't you know, it's actually mom's fault. Mom used to be mad at me if I mis-handling her Gucci purse.

It's really unfortunate that we don't live as close as we wanted too, I love her and miss her always..

The photo below was taken on her wedding day last month (I can't even attend...sigh). Notice her Louboutin? She always wanted one, so she finally took the plunge and bought it a couple weeks before the big day.

Being bitten by Louboutin Bugs

If you know Marchesa, they are a British designers that focused on print and embroidery evening gowns. They are so beautiful I always want to cry when I see them being worn by celebs during the awards season (Academy Award or Emmys) or just during red carpet moment. They exorbitantly expensive, but of course I know why. These days it's always between Marchesa and Monique Lhuillier for me...

Back to the topic as per title, Marchesa and Louboutin teamed up for 2010 Spring collection. I got distracted by Chanel for months, now I'm being bitten again by Louboutin. It's a never ending cycle! I almost forgotten my first love with the ever fabulous red soles Louboutin.

I would really like the shoes on the first pic, so exquisite with see-through sides, probably wear those to a wedding. In this case, I may force my middle sister to get married so I have an excuse to buy them haha

I heart Doctor visits...NOT ;-)

I had a doctor appointment this morning. For me visiting doctors are like having a regular facial, one way to put it don't you think? They examine you, they give you diagnosis (hopefully-if they know what's wrong with you) and they'll try to give you a solution. I had my moments of course, I mean going to a doctor (repeatedly) is by no mean going to the mall!

Hence I'm using this blog to distract myself. I like pretty things and writing about pretty things makes me happy.

Oh..since my appointment was at 9am, I didnt have to be at work till at least 10am. That means, I can take pics. Says who you cannot wear your favorite shoes to the doctor? That said, I'm scheduled for another doctor appointment on Monday morning, have a good weekend!
