High heels are pleasure with PAIN?

Well that's what Mr. Louboutin said. I have few pairs myself and it's funny how I always expect myself to be in pain when I bought his shoes. I just knew it's going to be stiff and hard to walk on. I'm going to get slight blisters and squished toes for the first few wears. Unlike others, I won't go beyond 110mm. Not even 120mm.
So anyway, I decided to get a new work shoes, in classic black patent and I chose Decollete. They are beautiful shoes for sure, and I just got them back from being resoled in red and the owner of the shop told me, the shoes are just so pretty..hehe of course I believed him! But yeah my toes are being molded to this narrow corner...uurgh it's definitely painful! Oh well....I kept telling myself it will get better. Hopefully by this weekend if I keep wearing them.

I have Nude Piou Piou coming later this afternoon too, so stay tuned :-)

San Antonio Zoo Trip 2012

We took the boys to San Antonio Zoo on Saturday to celebrate them being 15 months old. The boys had fun and the weather was absolutely gorgeous!

On Sunday we had pizza and just hang around at home. The boys wearing their t-shirt that we bought at the zoo as souvenirs! I need more weekend like this pleaseeee :-)

Moved!

Our office finally moved to this new location up North last week and I was so happy! Not only the new location will cut my traveling time to half (I'm about 15-20 mins away from home now compares to 45 mins), I'm about 5 minutes away from the boys' montessori and oooh 3 minutes away from NM haha.
Picking them up every afternoon is now a breeze and I don't get grumpy on the road. The office is brand spanking new with full size mirror in the women bathroom (I don't know about you, but that's important for me), trails at the back, huge kitchen with cafetaria style, personalized lockers (mine contains foods HAHA) and so on.

Anyway, I couldn't take pictures properly in front of the full size mirror. I don't know..I think the lighting angles kinda wrong. Oh well..I will keep practicing.

Happy Easter 2012

I hope you have a great Easter so far with your families. We've been pretty outdoorsy the whole weekend as we took the boys to the Easter Extravaganza yesterday at the Riverbend Church and we went for brunch today and stopped by at the Old Settlers Park for some bluebonnet pictures (my first time ever too since I moved to Austin in 2007!). Anyway, it was nice day and great way to burn some cals from the brunch hehe.

Ever since I got the brown Prada, she became one my favorite. Especially now that I have 2 boys, the extra shoulder strap for me to use crossbody really come handy. While I'm in the process of culling more bags that I have, I just had to have another cute tote that I can use as a messenger bag. So I have decided to get the large Givenchy Pandora. It's not everyone' cup of tea and the style does look funky with only one handle. But I love it either way. It's spacious and not heavy at all, just perfect for me and not to mention Reese looks awesome carrying one ;-)

4 Weeks on..

I think I'm coping pretty well with the lack of sleep since the twins are here. Sure I had my low moments but I know it's going to get better!
Anyway, while my sister still here, we went shopping at the Domain. I went pretty nuts..actually on a second thought, it wasn't too bad (damage wise). I got some nice goodies, it was good to be back to the shopping arena hehe.

Today my sister left me. I had to send her to the airport, back to Sydney, back to real world. And I miss her already. My boys definitely misses their aunt.

Hopefully I can take the boys to see her soon or vice versa! Probably before they turn 2 haha, not sure how hard to travel with twins in tow. Till next time my darling sister..muach!

Missing Home!

No matter where I stay, I still rather stay at home. My own bed, bathroom and everything. Last day in San Antonio today- it was lovely (and I didn't have to clean/wash/tidy for few days) but yeah I want my pillows :D

Not Really There Yet

Today I'm posing in our not so ready nursery room. Still plenty to do but the main items we need are there, just need to set them up properly. One thing, I woke up this morning feeling huge haha and I wonder if the 3 hrs GTT that I had yesterday may caused it ;-) The result won't be in till Monday or Tuesday oh well..just hope for the best. The experience yesterday wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, maybe because I know what to expect.

So back to huge, I'm only 25w2d, I think I'm making up for the lost time! All these times people kept telling me my belly is too small for twins, but now you are asking for it, ha!

Anyway, DH and I went to have Indian for lunch, then grocery shopping at Costco and then we went to the mall for window shopping then we head to the cinema to watch Hereafter (Matt Damon). I love it, though the story is kinda sad-especially about the twin boys.

Little Tuesday Pleasure

I'm totally in the mood to dress up this morning, I think I'm totally showing too these days (I'm at 20w5d today) but I'm not complaining, it's kinda cute knowing there are 2 chubbies in there and oh..oh..I'm having boys! DH and I already have names so we are pretty much set. We actually already have names in mind for ages. All these times we were hoping nobody (friends and family) take the names and glad to say we are safe!

I feel great overall despite the difficulties of sleeping most nights (nose congestion is super annoying) but I've been using the nasal strips and it does help. Workwise...that is probably something I will complain about, we have so many deadlines towards December and I really don't want to think about it right now haha.

I still have not shop for any specific maternity items beside the skinny jeans and the spanx legging...I don't know..I'm not sure what to buy, I just get by these days but those days are outnumbered soon, I need to do some serious shopping!

Hey Hey

Long time no see you guys! Haven't been able to update this blog :-( I was in Dallas for work whole last week too and before that, the preparation to go to Dallas was like crazy. If you knew what I wore during those hectic times.....let's say flip flop almost become my best friend.

Anyway a little update, I'm 14w2d today, I must say I'm glad that I'm no longer in the first trimester. Ummm and I've been keeping this a secret for a while, but I'm going to have twinkies :-D so there! I guess one is not enough, I just gotta have 2 at once hehe. So just a little warning, I'm going to be as big as Texas and it will be more than a challenge to find something decent to wear.

If you have any tips let me know, I think I'm going to do lots of layering especially since by the time I get to third trimester, it will be fall/winter.

• Yesterday was the end of doctor appointments (well for now at least until further notice)-so happy!

Quick Fix

I love boyfriend jeans on some people especially celebs who always seems able to pull it off. I never buy one because nothing seems to fit properly. So this morning before I went out for my appointment, I wore my loyal SFAM bootcut jeans, roll them up and and voila they look like the boyfriend jeans that I wanted. Problem solved.

Oye

So I will have my YSL shoes delivered to the office by end of this week-but of course the silly Fedex just had to put a delivery date for Saturday when the office is actually close. Ugh you know what that means, they are just going to leave a card (because signatures required) and I will have to pick up my babies somewhere God knows where because I work all the way down South while I live up North. Oye.

Bought Bruno Magli shoes for DH last week, he's happy though I have to say going shopping with him requires high patient threshold, I mean I thought it will be easy, but no...there's always something wrong with the shoes that I picked for him.

Long weekend is coming up with Monday being a MLK day. Lovely. I booked a 3 hours spa on the Sunday at the usual place.

So this morning, being Thursday, I have a reason to be happy and I decide to put more effort with my working outfit as I've been looking like a dag lately o_O
